Lost 80 pounds from 230 pounds
Hello, I am Anna and this is my before photo weighing over 230 pounds. It took me about 7 months to lose 80 pounds and keeping the pounds off over 3 years.

This is my "AFTER photo losing 80 pounds" and happily keeping those pounds off and away. I eat every 3 hours and include protein in every meal. Losing 80 pounds was not a boring weight loss program. On the contrary, it was so much fun losing 80 pounds and seeing the transformation of my body and my face.
Why am I telling you my weight loss experience? Simply, if you are reading my story is either because you want to lose weight or because it motivates you to live healthier. You know, the hardest part of losing 80 pounds was not the beginning, but losing the final 5 pounds. Have that happened to you?

Anna O. Lost 80 pounds from 230 pounds,
this photo is from the Ballroom Dancing on Saturday, August 30, 2008.
I have included in my lifestyle a "Mediterranean way of living," which means trying to have fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, grains, proteins, my wine, yogurt, cheeses, but most important to be active by doing as much as physical activity as possible.
I discovered that losing weight can be fun too not a burden. What do I mean? Well, let me tell you that I enjoy ballroom dancing because not only helps me lose weight, but also keep the 80 pounds off! I started learning new steps by watching the programs Dancing with the Stars (USA), Mira Quien Baila (Spain), Ballando con le Stelle (Italy) and Bailando Por Un Sueño (Mexico). My favorite ballroom dancers are Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Raimondo Todaro, Edyta Sliwinska, Karina Smirnoff, Samantha Togni.
There is no excuse for not exercising. If you picture a boring every day following a specific routine, then, there is your problem for not exercising. You see, I had that problem before when thinking, "Ohy my gosh I have to go the gym and exercise." Well, once I've got the meaning of enjoying exercise by having fun, then the whole enchilada changed.

That's how you can visualize your weight loss program. Make it fun, don't see it as a burden. Start by walking few blocks, use stairs instead of elevators or electronic ladders, do stretching or free weights while watching television. Just use your creativity and make it fun to melt those extra pounds.
For me, my favorite exercise, excuse me, my favorite entertainment is "Ballroom Dancing to Lose Weight." It boosts my metabolism, helps me stretch, burn calories and tone my body just by adjusting to the different rhythms. Point is that you can lose weight without feeling tired or as starting a big burden.
Have fun because you can lose those extra pounds too.
