A Christmas Lunch to Help You Keep your Weight Loss Program with a homemade Meal.

By Anna O.

Are you overeating? Thinking you need to starve to lose weight during the holidays?

Well, let me tell you from my experience. You don't have to deprive yourself from sharing healthy meals with your family and friends.

You can still lose weight while sharing the festivities.  Most important is to keep a balanced meal.  Make healthy choices if attending buffets.

For example, I had a Christmas Lunch celebration with my daughter today and prepared a healthy and delicious meal. How do I know? My daughter loved the menu and enjoyed each selection.

I also loved the taste, the colorful meal selection and table setting.  My favorite were the Salad and the Natural Baked Pears with that crunchy oatmeal topping! ummmmm just delicious!

Here is what I prepared:

- Basmati Rice with spices
- Beef patty with natural herbs seasoning.
- Mixed Baby Green Orange salad with my own
    vinagrette,
(a combination of balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper and fresh basil)
- Hot homemade holiday spiced tea.
- Baked pears with honey and oatmeals (this has become our favorite sweet).
- A Christmas Italian inspired Coffee Cocktail.

Of course, to create a holiday environment. I made sure to decorate the table with candles, green ribbons, Cristmas ornaments.

You see, it is so easy to keep track of our weight loss program just preparing ahead of time.  Making sure we are preparing healthy meals.  Ah, forgot the last detail... exercise at least 15 minutes, it will be an added incentive.

Until next time,

Your Weight Loss Support Friend,

Anna O.
