Home Made Spiced Tea to Calm Your Cravings for Sweets During the Holidays

Craving for sweets but don't want to consume extra sugary calories?  This is a great way to enjoy the holidays with this home made "Warm Spiced Tea."


How about having this quick, delicious, and warm tea with 2 cookies (100 calories)?  Tea alone is 0 calories.

This Spiced Sweet Tea to calm your cravings and help your digestion too. Anise helps you get rid of gases and blotated feeling too.

Combine dependig on your taste the following spices:

-  cinammon sticks
-  1 teaspoon of Berries
-  1 teaspoon cloves
-  1 teaspoon allspice
-  1 teaspoon anise seed
-  1 teaspoon ground cardamon
-  a pinch of nutmeg.

Boil the spices and let simmer.   You can prepare this tea in advance and just warm up. You may also drink it cold. 

You can have your "READY HOME MADE SPICED TEA MIX" ready by mixing the above ingredients in a jar and have them ready whenever you crave for sweets.  For a cup of tea you can use 1 tablespoon mix to a cup of boiling water.

Another option
:  You can use same ingredients  for mulled cider, get apple cider and boil with the spices.

Believe me, it is so delicious, warm, and calm your cravings.
You can skip the 2 cookies, or hey... enjoy them.  Get those cookies packages containing 100 calories.

You will satisfy your sweet cravings without sabotaging your diet.
