Completing my Abs Exercise and Celebrating Ballroom Dancing at the Granada Pavilion
By Anna O.

What a blast!
I accomplished my cardio exercise yesterday and celebrated at the Granada Pavilion Saturday Ballroom Dancing.
First, let me tell you, I had 3 different outfits to choose (see photo on the left).
Since I have been working out hard to get my flat abs, I had to pick up an appropriate dress to show my progress.
After all, my abs exercise role model FRANCESCO TOTTI helped me completed my routine.
Then, my general fitness inspiration Spanish tennis player RAFAEL NADAL gave me the special punch for not giving up. Though, my favorite soccer team AC MILAN upset me after losing against Empoli in San Siro.
Having said that, as a reward for accomplishing my weight loss program and weekly abs exercises, I wore my black dress with black gloves and a black and white long scarf to enhance my dress. (see the photo on the left)
I am here with Larry one of my disco ballroom partners. Larry also is great with Swing and Rumba.
I told you on Thursday that my dancing cardio exercise goal for Saturday was to dance: at least 5 JIVES (15 minutes), 3 merengues (9 minutes), 2 salsas (6 minutes)
Guess what? I DID IT!
I danced even more than my written goal. I danced like 3 discos, and cumbias too! I could feel my heart rate increasing and enjoying each moment because I knew I was burning fat while having fun! Where I really pumped up my heart rate and tested my resistance was with Glenn Miller's jive "IN THE MOOD." Boy, did Renato make me sweat and jump all over the dance floor!
While dancing the jive, I remembered my home exercise time trying to cope with the Dancing with the Stars Cardio Dance DVD. I love practicing the JIVE section with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, wish to meet him one day. You can read my review here: Dancing with the Stars Cardio Dance Review

Are you ready to lose weight now? This is the question.

Hi Anna O,
Ballroom dancing to stay fit. Great idea and glad you're consistent. I dance to stay fit too. When I think of Ballroom dancing "Frank Sinatra" comes to mind. I love his songs like "Saturday Night is the Loneliest Night of the Week."

Hello Monica I am glad you like "Frank Sinatra too." Definitely, dancing is a great way to lose weight and have fun. So, ballroom dancing at the Granada Pavilion on Saturdays, make a "Saturday Night not the Loneliest Night of the Week," but the longest night to shape up. Thanks for visiting and I love your skinny scarves. In the photo you see I am using a black and white scarf to embellish my black dress.
