Quick Healthy Recipe Pasta with Tomato and Salad - Sample Menu prior Working Out to Give you Enough Energy

How are you doing with your weight loss plan diet?

- This is a sample menu prior working out to give you enough carbs to burn as energy and not feeling tired.

- Problem with diets omitting carbs are that you end up feeling tired. Thus, a combination of protein, carbs, fiber is your best shot to keep your energy level.

- This is a regular pasta with tomato sauce and basil. Tomatos give you lycopene.

Benefits of lycopene include antioxidant, to help you neutralize harmful free radicals, which are implicated in cancer, heart disease, macular degeneration and other age-related illnesses.

- The protein drink is not seen in this picture  because I had it 15 minutes earlier. You can either have chicken breast along with your pasta or a protein drink. For example, tomorrow, I will have chicken breast and basmati rice. (carbs/protein).

- A mixed green salad to help you digest and provide enough fiber.

- F resh fruit

- Your glass of red wine.  If you don't drink or feel like not having wine. You may have your favorite herbal tea either cold or hot.

PASTA with Tomato Sauce (Pasta pomodoro) RECIPE

-  Boil your pasta,
-  Then, separately sautee with extra virgin olive oil garlic, fresh tomatos or tomato sauce (not the one prepared, but pure tomato sauce), add some italian herb seasoning, crushed red pepper (pepperoncino) and basil.
-  Let simmer your sauce for about 15 minutes or until you see your red sauce become a little bit orange color.

Once your pasta is boiled. You can mix with your fresh homade sauce.  Serve with fresh basil and some parmessan cheese. (usually takes about 20 minutes to prepare this lunch) It will be helpful if you prepare your sauce in advance and freeze individual containers to have them ready.

I had this lunch around 12:30 p.m.

      i've been drinking diet soda with meals with no calories, but i heard that still is not good, what is your view on diet soda?
