Easy Pasta Salad Recipe alla Caprese - Recipe for Mediterranean Pasta
A Quick and Easy Recipe (about 15 minutes)

This Pasta Salad Recipe alla Caprese is one of my favorite Italian recipes.
Instead of having a simple Insalata Caprese (Caprese salad),
I added whole wheat pasta to give me enough carbs to fuel my body and burn fat.
It is my simple recipe for a quick Mediterranean pasta with an Italian flavor.
Ingredients
- Whole wheat pasta or regular pasta
- Arugula or basilico (basil)
- Fresh red tomatoes
- Mozzarella
Salad dressing
- Balsamic vinegar
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- You may add pepperoncino too.
Preparation
- Boil pasta as indicated.
- On a separate bow, mix the arugula/basilico,
tomatoes, and mozzarella
- Add the salad dressing before serving the pasta.
- You can either mix the pasta and vegetables or
as I prefer, serve pasta first and on top the
mix of (arugula/basilico, tomatoes, and mozzarella)
Serving suggestion:
Remember to serve MODERATELY to keep your weight loss diet.
Use a pasta bowl or a medium portion.
You can eat it hot or cold. It works both way.
You can have a side dish of CHICKEN to have your protein, or you can have a protein shake to help you enhance body fat loss and maintain lean muscle.
Dessert: Serve with fresh fruits, for example a cup of pineapple chunks
Drinks: Cold herbal tea, fresh fruit juice, water, lemonade
Wine: Your favorite glass of wine. Not more than 1 glass of wine.
Coffee: After meal you may have an espresso, regular coffee, or your
favorite herbal tea.
